KGB Archiver

KGB Archiver is a file archiver and data compression utility based on the PAQ6 compression algorithm. Written in Microsoft Visual C++ by Tomasz Pawlak, KGB Archiver is designed to achieve a very high compression ratio but to compress and decompress files it takes a lot of time to complete its word. As a consequence, the program is relatively memory and CPU intensive. KGB archiver can save file into two different formats: [1] KGB which it its ows format and can be only opened with the KGB archiver and, [2] ZIP format which is commonly used.
